Trust and privacy
Seertak is built for private CV authoring. CVs do not receive public profile links, and we do not sell personal data or use CV content for advertising or AI training.
Account authentication, locale and optional template preferences are kept so you can sign in and continue your work. CV content, presentation settings, current revision number and titles are stored in your private workspace.
Guest drafts and pending guest photos stay in this browser’s local storage. They are sent to account storage only when you explicitly import them after signing in. Clearing browser data can remove local drafts.
Optional profile photos use private storage and are returned only through an authenticated same-origin request. Browser PDF printing is created from your document without sending CV content to public compilation or AI services.
Text-based PDF and DOCX imports are read in this browser. The source file and extracted review text are not uploaded or retained. Only sections you explicitly accept enter your draft. Scanned and image-only documents are rejected because Seertak does not use OCR.
Essential session cookies keep signed-in accounts secure. When enabled in production, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure aggregate public-page traffic and browser performance without analytics cookies. They may process a sanitized public pathname and limited infrastructure metadata. Seertak rejects auth, dashboard, editor, API, photo and unknown URLs, removes query strings and fragments, and sends no custom events or CV content. Operational logs must exclude CV content, credentials and session secrets.
You can remove guest drafts through your browser’s site-data controls. From your dashboard, you can permanently delete your account, saved CVs, private photos and preferences after confirming your account email.
